1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EchoRecorder ("the Service"), operated by Echo Insights LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

EchoRecorder is a screen recording platform that allows users to record, share, and analyze screen recordings within teams. The Service includes web-based tools, a Chrome browser extension, and desktop applications.

3. Accounts & Teams

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Team owners are responsible for managing access and content within their team.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: record content you do not have the right to capture, store illegal or harmful content, attempt to access other teams' data, reverse-engineer or abuse the platform, or violate any applicable laws.

5. Content Ownership

You retain ownership of all recordings and content you create. By using the Service, you grant Echo Insights LLC a limited license to store, process, transcode, and deliver your content as necessary to operate the Service.

6. Service Plans & Billing

EchoRecorder offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Storage limits, member limits, and feature access vary by plan as described on our pricing page.

7. Data Retention

Free plan recordings are subject to a 30-day retention period. Pro and Business plan recordings are retained for the duration of your subscription. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Echo Insights LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
